Occasionally, we host deep-dive research studies that take place over the phone or via secure video platforms like Zoom or Google Meet. These are casual, one-on-one conversations that allow you to share your health experiences in more detail—and they typically offer higher reward amounts for your time.
Here is exactly how the process works:
Step 1: The Online Screener
You will receive an email invitation indicating a Telephone or Web Conferencing Interview is being conducted. If you are interested, you’ll first fill out a short online questionnaire to confirm you meet the specific criteria for that project.
Step 2: Choosing Your Time
If you qualify, you will select a date and time that works best for your schedule using an online calendar.
Step 3: Joining the Session
We will send you a confirmation email and calendar invitation with a link (for web video) or a dial-in phone number. On the day of your session, you'll simply log in or dial into the call from a quiet, private space.
Step 4: The Conversation
A professional researcher will guide you through a relaxed conversation about your health journey. There are no right or wrong answers—we just want to hear your honest perspective.
Do I have to be on camera? For phone studies, no camera is needed. For web conferencing, being on camera is required so the researcher can chat with you naturally, but you will always be notified before you book the session if a webcam is required.
Step 5: Higher Rewards
Because these sessions require a bit more of your time (usually 30 to 60 minutes), a larger gift card reward (amount indicated in the survey invitation) will be credited directly to your Member Portal within 5 business days of completing the session.
Please note: Do not include any personal information when contacting Customer Support, except for the email address you registered with, the survey number if relevant, and a description of the problem you encountered.
